About gear.casa

Live eBay asking prices for graphics cards, matched to the exact board.

Who we are

gear.casa is built by two people, Nick and Robby. We built it because working out what a used graphics card actually goes for meant opening forty eBay tabs. So we made the page we wanted: every live listing for a card in one table, matched to the exact board, cheapest first.

What the prices are

These are asking prices, not sold prices. Every price on the site is what a seller on eBay is asking right now. A card can sell for less than it is listed at, and some listings never sell at all. We show asking prices because they are what you can actually buy at today.

For each card we also work out the typical asking price: the middle of what its live listings from US sellers are asking, kept apart for used and new. Listings that have been up for more than three weeks without selling are left out of that number, because the ones that sit are usually the overpriced ones. The price check next to a listing ("Low", "Typical", "High") compares its price with that. The price history chart shows how the typical asking price has moved week by week.

The listings are refreshed several times a day. A listing that has sold or ended drops off at the next refresh.

How we make money

We are part of the eBay Partner Network. When you click through to eBay from gear.casa and buy something, eBay pays us a commission. It doesn't change your price, and it doesn't change what we show: every matched listing is in the table, sorted by price, whether or not it earns us anything.

That commission is the only way the site makes money. There are no ads, no sponsored listings and no paid placements.

More

How it works covers what we filter out and how listings are matched to a board. Privacy covers what we collect (very little). Questions or a wrong listing? Get in touch.
